Framed in August 2015, Too Many Cooks is a Delhi-based band slanted towards an unobtrusive yet one of a kind amalgamation of Sufi music with jazz. Highlighting Abhishek Sharma, Salil Charaya and Vishal Dixit, it's not just another band; this one has worked out a straightforward yet heartfelt approach to making a mix in the middle of Sufi and jazz music. Abhishek, an anesthesiologist by profession, has dependably been energetic about music. Formerly, the lead vocalist of Insignia, he draws motivation from any semblance of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Farida Khanoon to give some examples. Salil is a guitar player hailing from Meerut, UP. Crisply moved on from Swarnabhoomi Academy Of Music, he came down to Delhi to play what he accepts to be "his take" on today's Indian music. With a generous learning of music and a certificate in jazz execution, he now plans to play some decent revisions with this unplugged setup. Vishal began playing piano at an early age and added n number of feelings in music; he recognizes what to do – and more importantly, what not to do. A GMI alumnus, Vishal is flexible as well as truly speedy at getting a handle on diverse styles of music. Furthermore, his insane, smooth jazz licks are impeccably complimentary to the band's vibe.
