ShredxXx is a LIVE band based out of Kolkata, West Bengal. They are India’s first shred rock/metal band. The band draws their inspiration from artists like Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan, Ustad Vilayat Khan, Vinnie Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine, Cacophony, Judas Priest, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and many more. They mash their guitar shredding skills with classical forms of music like Khandani or traditional music in a way the Eastern music meets the Western one. Band Members: Gyab La – Little, fat, shaggy-haired; zaps everything to ashes with his Sitar-minator Captain Shreddex – Leader of the pack and the designated tough guy; rips anything to pieces with his Shred-axe Gaam La – Bucket-faced, wears nerd glasses; pulverises whatever is in front of him with his enormous bass hammer Bob – a demolition expert, blasts, crashes and breaks anything in sight
