Description

Paridhi is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. Starting off in 2012, the band is one of the upcoming popular bands in Bengal. Within a short span of time, the group achieved their own image by pushing their boundaries and setting new ones, extending and exploring new musical horizons, and adding newer dimensions to redefine the genres of folk, semi-classical, and fusion music.

Although they primarily compose and perform their own compositions, the band covers popular folk songs too, in their own style.

Paridhi has been hugely supported by Kalikaprasad Bhattacharya, frontman of the folk rock band 'Dohar'. Their work has also been well-acknowledged by some of the most prominent personalities in the world of music, like Lopamudra Mitra, Raja Narayan Deb, Joy Sarkar, Srijato, Rajib (Dohar), and Uppal (Chandrabindoo).

The band has launched their album in the presence of a packed audience at Sisir Manch in September, 2015.
