Sarthak Pahwa is a trained tabla player who has now expanded his vision from Indian folk to Carnatic to Peru music to Cuban to African style of music, and the list goes on. He is considered a marksman in any and every style of playing, which is shown through the different setups he is a part of, like the Indian folk project Bramhanaad, the world-fusion project Raagleela, the pop band Manic Bazaar, and the Western cover band The Misplaced Trilogy. He is also a solo percussionist performing alongside DJs all across the nation. As a musician, he adds that authenticity to the music, which makes one not just a passive listener but also a part of the melodies. And as he puts it, "There is nothing more real than letting your hands loose and playing from the heart." Sarthak has performed at Aqaujam (Naukuchiyatal), IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay (Mood Indigo), Indian Habitat Centre, Siri Fort, NIFT Delhi, Allen Winburg Mussorie, and at numerous DU fests. Sarthak continues to add his flavors to today's music, making it as interesting as it can get for people to forget the illusion they live in, and feel the beat of the world. He has collaborated with several national and international artists, which include Farhan Saeed (Pakistan), Emanuel (Africa), etc.
