Kausar Raag is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. The duo consists of a singer and a guitarist, Vivek Kaushik and Sarvdaman Prashar, respectively. Vivek started singing at the age of four and won many competitions and accolades at school and college level. He took basic training from his mother in early years and took formal training from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Vivek won the Corporate Talent Championship in 2013 at all India level and performed many times in corporate events and parties. Sarvdaman Prashar started playing guitar at the age of 18. He has had exposure to all sorts of genres since childhood and developed a deep love towards music. He was quite active during his college days and played at many events with his former band. He considers himself quite fortunate to have seen some of the legends like Enrique Iglesias, Vishal Dadlani, Papon, Arijit Singh, Wadali Bros, and Hans Raj Hans playing LIVE. His major influences are MJ, Enrique Iglesias, Billie Joe Armstrong, James Blunt, Vishal Dadlani, AR Rahman, and Pritam. Both of them work together in the same company and realised that they can perform well as a duo, hence they decided to start this project.
