Divide Torture is a LIVE band based out of Kolkata, West Bengal. The band was formed in 2013 when the vocalist and the bassist found some similar influences. They started writing songs, and at the same time, were looking for a drummer and a guitarist. Soon, the lineup was complete, and they began jamming their original compositions and covers. The band was formed around the ideology of terminating torture and traumatisation. After a year, they released their debut single. Divide Torture's music comprises fast double-peddle work and massive sounding riffs along with groovy basslines and deep growls. Some of their influences are Death, Cattle Decapitation, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Weapon, Napalm Death, Nile, Severe Dementia, Carcass, Behemoth, and Atmahatya.
