Sudeep Jaipurwale is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Born in 1986, Sudeep is the great grandson of the legendary classical vocalist, Guni Gandharva Pt Laxman Prasad Jaipurwale, and grandson of the illustrious singer, Pt Govind Prasad Jaipurwale of the Kunwarshyam Gharana.
Sudeep was initiated into music by his father, Bhavdeep Jaipurwale. He later took rigorous training from his grand uncles, Pt Girdhar Prasad Jaipurwale, Gaayanaacharya Pt Rajaram Shukla, and Pt Vishwaprakash.
Sudeep sings khayal, thumri, tappa, ghazal, bhajan and geet with equal ease and command. As a child, he has sung in many films, TV commercials, and music albums.
Sudeep has given many solo and duet performances with his guru and father, Bhavdeep Jaipurwale, and received rave reviews from great masters like Pt Jasraj, Ustad Sultan Khan, Dr N Rajam, Smt Veena Sahastrabuddhe, Shri Gulzar, Smt Anuradha Paudwal, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar, Shaan, and Roopkumar Rathod to name a few. He is also learning the nuances of playback singing under Sonu Nigam.
He has sung the title track of the movie, Sham Ghansham, with the Bharat Ratan Lata Mangeshkar, Suresh Wadkar and Hariharan, music by Vishal Bhardwaj in 1998.
Recently, he has been singing for famous television serials like Balika Vadhu, Gulaal, Na Aana Iss Des Laado, Punar Vivah, Kerry, Madhubala, Veera, Diya Aur Baati, Savdhan India, Afsar Betiya, and Ek Ghar Banaunga to name a few.
He has performed at several events like television, auditorium, wedding, corporate, etc. in places like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Pune, Amritsar, Rajahmundry, Bhopal, Vizianagaram, Guwahati, Amrawati, Pandharpur, and Shirdi.
