Siddharth Basrur is an Indian vocalist, composer and a playback singer from the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Over the time, he has worked with various bands spanning a variety of genres – ranging from acoustic and metal to punk and electronic. Siddharth has lent his voice to Bollywood movies like Haunted 3D, Players and David (2013 Hindi film) and has featured on the song Marghat, composed by ace music composer, Clinton Cerejo for Coke Studio Season 3. He has even collaborated with comedy troupes like AIB and East India Comedy for a few of their sketches and has sung jingles for many TV ads for composers like Mikey McCleary and Leslie Lewis and many more. His latest endeavour has been singing the song, 'Haseena Tu, Kamina Main', for the Saif Ali Khan-starer, Happy Ending. On the indie front, Siddharth was featured as a LIVE performer with Karsh Kale and Midival Punditz. He recently joined Mumbai hardcore band, Scribe on the vocals and has already performed with them at NH7 Weekender, Bangalore and Harley Rock Riders, 2014. His band, Last Remaining Light has finished recording and mixing their debut album, which should be released, early next year.
