Shiraz Uppal is a professional singer based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has been singing for the music director, AR Rahman, in tracks like 'Ala Hada' from 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' and the title song of Bollywood movie 'Raanjhanaa'. His other hits include 'Rabba' for John Abraham's 'Aashayein' and 'Roya Re' for Mahesh Bhatt's 'Dhoka'. He has won the Indian Mirchi Music Award for the best upcoming music composer in 2010. He is a Pakistani singer/songwriter and music producer. Shiraz completed his MBA in 1998 and then moved on with his passion for music. Shiraz can play almost every instrument and is also a computer buff who breathe and eat audio software and hi-end recording gear! Shiraz's art audio studio in Lahore called SU Studios where he composes, produces, records, mixes, and masters all of his songs and those of the others like Noori, Atif Aslam, Zeb and Jal, Haniya, Amanat, Fareeha Pervaiz, and many more. Shiraz is highly influenced by AR Rahman who is his guru and has grown up listening to his music.
