It was his mere search for the surrender before he won, a sheer desire to get lost before he found himself that pulled Saral out of a staunch business environment and made him dive deep into the world of music where despite having worked for three years in his father’s business, he had to start from the bottom, afresh. Saral got introduced to electronic music the way all of us do – a friend referred it. That was in the year 2000. And soon enough, he knew that it was more than “recreational stuff.” That music meant more to him, that it could set him at peace, that it could lift his spirits, that it could make the world a happier place. Back in 2012, when he was convinced that he had to set out in pursuit of his passion, he packed his bags, bid adieu to his business background and went straight to Cirrus, somewhere on the highway to Chapora.’ It was there that he had this opportunity to play as a professional DJ as he acquired the tag of a "Resident DJ" at Cirrus and played at several other places in Goa including Bardo and Bubble Brunch. The more music he played, the more people he got mesmerised, the more good times he brought to himself and others, the more he treaded the line between his initial love and eventual passion for music. Saral, for more than anything else, plays for the medley of emotions that music inspires, the stories beautifully concealed in each track. He absolutely loves the way music plays with his mind, the way a beat can make him smile or a beautiful transition can make him jump with joy. And this is reflected in the sets he plays. Each time he plays a set, he is looking to fly and his listeners, without disappointment, tend to find themselves near the clouds he's scaling.
