Shaan is a professional DJ based of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Born in 1995, he started his DJ/Producer career when he was 15 years old. He first played at Sunburn Goa 2010. Shaan's big room and uplifting tracks with silky-smooth transitions have earned him recognition from artists worldwide. In 2014, Shaan became the first Indian DJ to play at Tomorrowland, and served as an inspiration to the Indian youth. In the same year, he stood as the first Indian DJ to play at The Box, at Ministry of Sound in London. From beginning, DJ Shaan has played alongside big names in the industry such as Avicii, David Guetta, Hardwell, Afrojack, Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Dash Berlin, Kaskade, and Michael Woods. He is also the first DJ from India to play exclusive B2B sets with artists such as Yves V (Tomorrowland Resident DJ), Deniz Koyu, Ale Mora, and Arnej. Shaan's song – 'Light up the World Ft. Lauren Evans' – was picked up by Statement Records/ Armada. The track was launched on 26 Jan 2015. He rose to the top 15 Beatport Charts and got support of international artists like Nicky Romero, Tritonal, W&W, and Ruben De Ronde. Shaan has also been signed up with Phillip Driessen Management in Holland.
