Raghav Sachar is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. A child prodigy, he started playing his first musical instrument, harmonica, at the age of four. At the age of 15, Raghav formed a rock band called 'Canzona' and started touring all over India, performing at various corporate and campus events. He completed his Bachelors of Music from the reputed Monash University and Conservatory in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in composition and performance in 2003. He owns a music label called Raghav Sachar Music and has composed and released over 100 songs till date. He has recorded and performed with leading artists such as Sunidhi Chauhan, Kailash Kher, Shubha Mudgal, Adnan Sami, Shiva Mani, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Taufiq Qureshi, Shankar Mahadevan, Neeraj Shridhar, Niladri Kumar, Ranjit Barot, Kunal Ganjawala, Louis Banks, Dave Weckl (International Jazz Drummer), etc. Raghav has judged and appeared on numerous reality TV shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Indian Idol, Fame Gurukul, Little Champs, and Movers and Shakers. Currently, he plays 33 musical instruments and arranges, programs, mixes, and masters his own music. Awards: Awarded All India Best Drummer in Junior High School in 1991 Won Gold medals in various inter-school competitions from 1995-99 Awarded Best Keyboardist and Multi-Instrumentalist for inter-college competitions with his band Canzona in 1998 Got the prestigious 'Golden Key Award and Ernest Award' for outstanding performance and topping his class in Monash University, Australia in 2001
Films: Debuted as a Music Director for the film 'Kabul Express', by 'Yash Raj Productions' in 2005 Has completed eight films as a music Director, arranger, singer, multi-instrumentalist and an actor Has played numerous instruments in various Bollywood blockbuster films, such as Salam Namaste, Kaal, Dhoom, Hum Tum, Black Friday, Yehaan, Parineeta, Kal Ho Na Ho, Don etc
