Namo Fusion is a LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. A project of Narayan Raman, Namo is an acronym that stands for Narayan’s Musical Orchestra. Coincidently, Namo is also a Sanskrit word that translates to 'To bow’. Narayan started learning music at the age of five. His late grandmother pushed him into learning the violin and was trained by Prof TS Krishnaswamy for the next 12 years. Later, he was taught the Eklavya style of music from Dr L Subramaniam. He followed Dr Subramaniam's style of playing from close quarters and adapted some of his playing styles. Some of the artists he admires are Dr L Subramaniam, Jean-Luc Ponty, Dr L Shankar, John McLaughlin, and Zakir Hussain. He loves world fusion music since it has no particular type of music associated with it. It lets the creativity flow in any direction.
