MOhit Lalwani is best known for his crowd-pleasing performances and heartwarming vocals on Indian Idol 4. Loved by audiences, fellow contestants, and judges alike, MOhit has continued to build on his journey through Indian Idol and reach audiences across the globe. With soul-stirring performances in over 35 countries and in 10 languages, Mohit’s charm and musical prowess crosses all country and language barriers. MOhit’s journey started in his own hometown where he was trained by Guru Ustad Aftab Ahmed Khan and also became a popular act on the Delhi music scene with his performances along with his band, Rooh. A graduate of Ramjas College with a degree in music, MOhit has honed his talent from a young age and ultimately gained the attention of Indian Idol judges where he stood out against 80,000 hopefuls for a spot on one of the most sought after television competitions. Since then, MOhit has continued to harness his passion by learning the guitar and exploring all genres of music including ghazals, folk, Sufi, American pop, and of course, Bollywood. His performances range from intimate and electrifying sangeet performances to distinguished LIVE shows that have filled some of the largest arenas worldwide. Mohit’s voice was first featured in a Bollywood film, 'Love U Soniyo', in the song, 'Pyaar Tera'. And he continues to work on his dream of breaking through as a playback singer.
