Kanika Joshi is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She was trained in classical music in Ajivasan Academy. She taught music at Ajivasan, which is, indeed, a mark of achievement for a career aspirant in field the of music. She is a great performer, excels in LIVE shows, and is a great choice for being a judge in various music festivals and college annual or inter-collegiate festivals. Kanika Joshi started her singing career at an early age of seven. She started training under the guidance of Shri Mahesh Chandra Jha. She has participated in various state-level and national-level programmes like Best Singer of Uttarakhand, Sangam Kala Group, etc. After completing her schooling, her father, who has always been the main support behind her music career, took her to Mumbai for further training and got her admitted in Suresh Wadkar's Ajivasan Music Academy. There, she learned under senior teachers like Sampada Bandodkar and Padma Wadkar. She participated in various television shows like Voice of India, Indian Idol 5 and SaReGaMaPa. Currently, she is doing Visharad Poorna from Sharada Sangeet Vidhyalaya, Bandra and working as a trainer in Suresh Wadkar's Ajivasan Music Academy as well as a freelancer in the field of music. Her biggest achievement, till now, is a song in the movie, Aalaap, whose music was given by the band, Agnee.
