Hemant Kumar Bidawat is a professional dancer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Hemant first started dancing with his friends when he was working with the NGO, Manzil. He self-learnt the art of Bollywood dancing as his parents did not support him for the same. Then, he went into Bollywood shows with a few dance troupes, doing regular shows and saved some money for further training as he always had a love for contemporary, lyrical and jazz dance style. Later, he joined Danceworx (Delhi) in 2012, starting as a student and, by 2013, became a probationer. In 2013, he became a company member and, in 2014, a senior company member. He started teaching there as an elementary level teacher in styles like jazz, street jazz, funk jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. In 2015, Hemant applied for a dance scholarship in Melbourne, Australia, at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance and went there for a three-month training. After returning from Australia, he did a lot of freelancing projects shoots, commercial TV choreographies, and created different artistic works.
