Aditi Mangaldas is a classical dancer and a choreographer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Aditi has a dance company - The Drishtikon Dance Foundation. It has been established to look at the dance tradition of India with a modern mind, and to explore how our past can help create a new and imaginative future. The dance company aims to achieve excellence in the rich classical Indian dance form of Kathak, and at the same time, to encourage a spirit of innovation in the art form. Principal dancer and choreographer, Aditi has had extensive training in the Indian classical dance form of Kathak. She has performed all over the world and is regarded as one of the leading dancers in both the traditional and contemporary idiom. Her contemporary performances reflect the spirit of Kathak. Each piece explores the past to create a new future. She was trained under Shri Birju Maharaj and Smt Kumudini Lakhia.
