Ghansham S Vaswani is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He has been gifted with a melodious voice, and comes as a discovery from the renowned ghazal maestro duo – Late Shri Jagjit Singh and Smt Chitra Singh. Born to Shri Santu Vaswani and Smt Tulsi, Ghansham had his initial exposure of music at home. Despite having a sound academic background, Ghansham chose music as his mainstream career. After training in Indian classical music from Ustad Aaftab Ahmed Khan, Dr Sushila Pohankar, Pt Ajay Pohankar, and Pt Rajaram Shukla, he took guidance and blessings from Late Shri Jagjit Singh. Ghansham has toured Hong Kong, Japan, Bangkok, Taiwan, Singapore, South Africa, Dubai, Canada and US. He is also a top-grade artist at Doordarshan and AIR, and regularly performs for radio concerts and Doordarshan programmes nationwide.
