Asymmetry is a progressive metal band founded in Bangalore, India in the early 2016 by vocalist/guitarist Souvik Shome, guitarist Ullas Rao and bassist Neerav Daimary with the addition of drummer Amit Malakar later. Bassist Ronald David Robinson blessed the band with his dexterity when Neerav stepped down at a latter part of 2016. The group saw their public appearances at pubs in and around Bangalore originally under the name Starlight. The band set forth their journey covering numbers but recently involved in creating masterpieces blending powerful riffs and blistering guitar tunes with it's influences from progressive juggernauts like Porcupine Tree, Karnivool, Katatonia et cetera. Asymmetry believes in music that dives within the wilderness lurking underneath setting apart the melancholiness of this world.
