Biography

Young Dirrt is a professional rapper based out of Imphal, Manipur. Also known as Geetchandra Zing Chongtham, he was born in 1992 and is an independent hip hop artist. Currently based in Bangalore, he is one-half of the Bangalore rap crew called Two Much, which was formed around late 2010. He is influenced by hip hop greats such as Notorious BIG, Tupac Shakur, Wu-Tang, Big L, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, KRS 1, and new-school rappers like Drake, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, etc. Since a very young age, Dirrt rose to both the public and the hip-hop community's recognition through his faith and hard work and is one of the most recognised and respected MCs from the North East. He has performed in many states throughout the country including Bangalore, Manipur, New Delhi, and other North Eastern states, with sold out audiences. Dirrt has also been featured on major websites like desihiphop, zomba.in, bombayhiphop, etc., including radio interviews.
