Yamini Reddy is an Indian classical dancer based out of the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad. Born to the legendary Kuchipudi exponents, Padma Bhushan awardees Radha Reddy and Dr Raja, Yamini has inherited dance from her parents. Endowed with a sculpted figure, scintillating grace and an expressive face, Yamini has a very captivating stage presence with the right aptitude for expressions and rhythm. Yamini learnt Kuchipudi from her parents and gave her first solo show at the tender age of three when she coaxed her parents to allow her to perform at Kamani auditorium in New Delhi. Watching a girl of that age perform a full-length Tarangam left the audiences amazed and the applause she got from the viewers was remarkable. Since then, Yamini has been practising and learning dance in the true style of Guru Shishya param para under her gurus. She performed and trained with her parents until when she embarked on a career of her own as a Kuchipudi performer. A significant number of years of experience as a performer gave Yamini an edge over her contemporaries. Her grace and energy on stage makes every performance enthralling.
