Yajur is a professional singer based out of the capital city of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh. He has been passionate about singing since his childhood, but formally performed for the first time in 2006.
Later, he performed on stage again in 2008 at his very own college freshers’ party. Since then, he has not looked back and has given explosive performances on various stages all across the region like the Disc X-Tronic (Chandigarh), Cafe Books n Brew (Chandigarh), Jhankaar (Cultural fest of Panjab University, Chandigarh), and Cultural fest at DIET (Kharar) to name a few. He has also won a few singing competitions like at Joust, Punjab University, Patiala in April 2010, and the National Cadet Corps ATC 2011 in Chandigarh.
Some of his noted works are Teri Bewafayi, Kitey Duniya Ton Door, Left Me Broken, Memories - The Craving, Dastoor, Syaahi, Tum Hi Ho - Rap Mix, Khalaare, and Dheeyan.
He is also the singer and composer of the official Efficycle Anthem, used by SAE India for promotion of its national event, Efficycle, which is held every year at Chandigarh. He has collaborated with artists like Semi, JSJ, Sikander Kahlon, The 'HK', N-Gritz, D-SB, and Mani Singh.
The genres he sings are Sufi, folk, rhythm, blues, and hip-hop.
