Biography

Xunoon is a six-piece metal/indie/rock/Sufi band based out of the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. They have performed more than 72 shows till date in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The partners of Xunoon are Dainik Jagran, NBT, and Anupama Foundation (NGO). They have won many Battles of Bands at colleges like Amity University (Lucknow), SRMU (Lucknow), IET (Lucknow), and IIM (Lucknow). They were also awarded for fair play at Ganjing Carnival (Lucknow) by the Magistrate. Xunoon was telecast LIVE during the ICC World Cup 2015 on the news TV channel, India News. The band has received compliments from noted people like Dr Kiran Bedi, Late Dr Abdul Kalam, Akhilesh Yadav, Mika Singh, Harshit Saxena (singer), Kaushi Diwakar (singer of Emptiness, female version), Vineet Singh (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finalist), and Tanmay Chaturvedi (Little Champs winner).
