Xpressions Salon started back in 1993 and is based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Simmi trained from the Stanford School of Beauty and soon opened her own studio. She completed her diplomas in Nail Extensions and Makeup from Singapore and Thailand and was one of the first artists to introduce airbrush makeup and acrylic nail extensions in India. Simmi Ghai is India's premiere bridal makeup artist, who has more than 20 years of experience in makeup, hair, beauty and nails. To her credit in the development of the hair industry, Simmi learnt hairdressing skills from Vidal Sassoon in London, as well as Saks in London. Shival Ghai is a graduate of The London School of Beauty and Makeup, and The Session School, London, UK. He developed his skills in makeup and hair artistry, working and training with clients and celebrity photographers all around the world – from London, with Toni and Guy, Regent Street, Nina Malone (UK), to Hong Kong with Toni and Guy, as well as Singapore with Makeup Forever. Being an avid user of airbrush makeup, Shival uses silicon base (S/B) medium to create the most intricate brides, as well as fantasy and creative makeup. He is regularly featured in HT City, Femina India, Marie Claire, Women's Era, Food AND Nightlife, Style Speak, Salon International, and Hair. Shival has worked with numerous celebrities, from Priyanka Chopra, Madhu Trehan and Priya Sachdev to Fatima Karan and Ajay Bijli.
