My Compelling Story

Capturing candid photographs beyond the conventional realms of naturalness by adding the element of art is what Vrutika Doshi is all about. She creates an artwork of memories through the imagination added by the creative minds at work, capturing the crux of the moment in ways that would have not been seen otherwise. After finishing junior college, there was something which made Vrutika look forward for more and more creativeness. That is when she was introduced to designing and photography. Every new shoot brings in new challenges and growth. Enhancing the art with professional certification and programs and winning honors and exhibition, she moved a step closer to perfecting the art to photography. She has paved her way through technological change with nimble adaptation for better skill, moving from the time consuming rolls and dark room to digital prints. Her 1st project as a still photographer was for a Bollywood movie ‘Jaane Kaha Se Aaye Hai’ and moved on to assist a few of the most renowned names in the industry like Ronny Sequeira, Nitin Patel etc. Just as the challenge was not enough, she took to shooting and writing for a magazine for a few years. Moving through the various genres of photography like travel, fashion, stills, wildlife, dance, wedding, various technicals in an attempt to perfect the art, she decided on an open challenge ‘freelancing’. Through time and various projects, she found a slot for a concept called Candid Photography for events, mainly 'weddings' and for travel and wildlife. She wanted to bring a new perspective to people’s opinion of pictures in their very lives along with living the challenge of exploring toughness.
