Virus is a four-piece LIVE progressive/groove/metalcore act based out of the city of Ranchi, Jharkhand. Formed in 2010, the band made it for the second round of Sennheiser top 50 India's Best Emerging Band. They have released three songs since 2010 – 'Wrath', 'Rehab' and 'Sacrifice' – and all of the them were very much appreciated by the Ranchi metal circuit. The band draws its major influences from artists such as Lamb of God, Opeth, Textures, Dream Theater, and many more.
