Considering the risk involved, it was considered an act of extreme courage.For his pragmatic approach, he is considered a symbol of the anti-corruption movement in India.He is credited with the most powerful CAG so far who turned the CAG office into an accountable and transparent office in contemporary India.Forbes described him one of the rare breeds of Civil Servants who know how to handle the government projects and government officials.
