Odunayo Adekuoroye of Nigeria defeated her in this exclusive tournament.In 2014, she won a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the womens freestyle 48 kg category. In this match, she defeated her opponent Yana Rattigan of England to win the gold. Vinesh reached the Quarter Finals at the Summer Olympics in Rio in 2016. She lost to the Sun Yanan of China and received a knee injury.
