StarClinch gives you rock-solid reliability backed by over 20,000 successful bookings. We verify our artists, offer highly secure payment gateways, and guarantee zero shady business. Question 3

Why should I consider Vikram Poddar for my event? What unique experience does he bring?

Accepted Answer

If you think corporate training has to be a snooze-fest, you haven't seen Vikram in action. As noted on his profile, he's the brains behind *Boredroom Comedy*, India's first corporate comedy consultancy. What does that actually mean for your event? He actively uses stand-up to tackle leadership development and employee engagement. He’s an FMS Delhi MBA who knows the corporate grind inside out. He's performed for heavy hitters like Aditya Birla LEAP/LEAD, Vodafone Discover, and the Maersk India Board of Directors. He basically roasts corporate culture while quietly fixing organizational relationships. It's a brilliantly stealthy way to unite your team.

Question 4

What makes Vikram Poddar stand out compared to others in his field?

Accepted Answer

It’s his absolute mastery of the corporate context. Most comics do observational humor about dating or traffic; Vikram does observational humor about EBITDA, HR policies, and synergy. Because he actually lived that life. Transitioning from closing a top-5 PE deal (like the Thomas Cook India buyout) to holding a microphone is not a normal career path—but it makes his comedy dangerously relatable for executives. He seamlessly bridges the gap between C-suite leaders and junior employees through shared laughter. His signature style? Making dry leadership theories hilariously digestible.

Question 5

What types of events are best suited for his performance?

Accepted Answer

While his profile notes he's available for "Various events" catering to a "General audience," let's be real—his absolute sweet spot is the corporate arena.

- **Leadership Offsites:** Perfect for breaking the ice among senior management.
- **Annual Town Halls:** Keeps employees genuinely engaged instead of checking their phones under the table.
- **Marketing Summits:** He ties organizational behavior into his sets effortlessly.

Need a [Speaker](https://starclinch.com/book-speaker-online) or entertainer who can deliver hard truths wrapped in a brilliant punchline? That's his specialty. He completely transforms the standard, stiff seminar into something incredibly memorable.

Question 6

How does he customize his comedy for different corporate clients?

Accepted Answer

Customization is literally his whole business model! Before he steps on stage, he takes the time to understand your specific organizational quirks. Are you going through a messy merger? Trying to push a new marketing strategy? Experiencing growing pains? Vikram integrates those specific themes into his COMEDIAN - Stand Up routine. From what I’ve seen, the real magic happens when he uses humor to safely address the exact tension points between leadership and staff. He essentially acts as a comedic consultant tailored to your exact team dynamics.

Question 7

What are his fees, and how much does it cost to hire him?

Accepted Answer

So, how much does an MBA-turned-comedian cost? His price generally falls between ₹1,25,000 and ₹2,50,000. But keep in mind, fees can fluctuate based on exactly what you need. A quick 30-minute tight set at a local Mumbai hotel might sit on the lower end, while a highly customized leadership workshop for a global board of directors will push toward the top of that range. To get a precise number for your specific requirements, just drop a line through our inquiry form. We’ll get you a bespoke quote fast.

Question 8

Is his content appropriate for a professional workplace environment?

Accepted Answer

100% yes. This is usually the biggest fear when booking a stand-up for an office party, right? "Will they say something that gets HR involved?" With Vikram, you don't have to sweat it. Because his background is deeply rooted in high-level corporate spaces—I mean, you don't perform for the Maersk Board of Directors by being unprofessional—he knows exactly where the line is. He delivers sharp, witty observations that tackle workplace realities without crossing into inappropriate territory. It’s smart, clean, and ridiculously relatable.

Question 9

Can he conduct interactive sessions, or is it strictly a monologue?

Accepted Answer

Oh, he does way more than just stand behind a mic and talk *at* your team. Since the entire focus of Boredroom Comedy is improving organizational relations, interaction is a huge part of his performance. He often weaves sharp crowd work into his sets, gently ribbing executives and employees alike to level the playing field. If you're organizing a retreat, he can lean heavier into the "consultancy" side of his work, facilitating real conversations through comedy. It’s highly interactive and designed to leave your team actually talking to each other long after the event ends.
