Vidya Tikari is the Director Makeup at Monsoon Salon & Spa, and is based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. She is, no doubt, the favourite with the Indian brides, particularly in Delhi where she is the reigning queen in the field of bridal makeup. Vidya has a rich experience of over two decades in the field of makeup. She is known for her versatility, and is an expert in managing wedding season rush. The good part about Vidya is that she takes into account everything from the client’s personality, outfit, skin-tone and type, to the face shape and features that need to be highlighted, and whether it’s a day or night wedding before Expectedly starting the makeup. She believes it is important to pamper your skin and add the much-lacking radiance in it before the special day. From a humble beginning in 1991, Vidya has grown to become a professional name to be reckon with in the fields of Hair and Makeup. From catering to events like the 'Commonwealth Games 2010' where the hair and makeup was done for over 9,000 performers which also landed her name in the Limca book of records 2011 to the first ever 'Formula 1 Grand Prix', Vidya and her team have been servicing thousands of clients every year from around the globe. Vidya has shaped stunning and exquisite looks for Bollywood celebrities like Sushmita Sen, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora Khan, Mallika Sherawat, Priyanka Chopra, Gul Panag, Anoushka Shankar, Yana, Abhay Deol and has given a new name to the concept 'male grooming' with Virat Kohli, Vikas Khanna, Vijender Singh, Rajeev Khandelwal, Nagesh Kukunoor, Chetan Bhagat to name a few.
