Biography

Vidya Ram is a professional singer based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. Vidya's raw talent and soulful voice are enough to make anyone fall for this rising star. She began uploading videos on YouTube three years ago when she was 19, and, initially, she wasn't even eliciting 100 views. As she carried on, her following continued to grow, gradually drawing viewers from across the globe, culminating with her cover of He Is We's All About Us, which received over 35,000 views. She began piano lessons in 8th grade but didn't begin singing until high school. Humming along to western music as she played, eventually led her to try singing a few bars. As her singing developed, so did her style, from country to pop to acoustic. Currently, Vidya has been performing at fests, cafes and many events where her voice is appreciated and has developed a loyal fan base of listeners.
