Victoria Bourke is a professional percussionist based out of the capital city of Goa, Panaji. Her interest in the djembe took her to West Africa, where she stayed and learned. Her love of dance music and the drums led her to start performing LIVE, accompanying DJ sets. Her performance career began in Brighton, UK, which boasts a booming music scene and has played in some great clubs and bars that Brighton is famous for, playing alongside house and tech DJs such as Paul Budd, Mirek Vacha, Semi Stef, Tom Vagabondo, John Burn, and more. From here, Victoria decided to move to India where she found a great vibe and a fresh space for creation, giving herself a new connection to progressive tech house and trance. DJ Sashanti, Kantrin Vesna, Talvin Singh, Kini Rao, Tobiwan, Bjorn Wilke, Peter Schumann, Submerge, Hennessy Artistry, and much more were the starting point of some great gigs for her in Goa. Now, her music has taken her to places like iBar (Bangalore), Bacchus (Bangalore), Sanctum Club (Bangalore), Bonobo (Bombay), China House (Bombay), Pali Bhavan (Bombay), The Zoo (Delhi), Zouk (Delhi), Smoke House Grill (Delhi), Miami Club (Pune), Swig (Pune), PentHouze (Pune), Sunburn Festival (Sri Lanka), Sula Fest (Sri Lanka), VH1 Supersonic (Sri Lanka), and Club Chi (Dubai). She is now looking forward to more LIVE music production after the last release she was featured on was a great success, having been remixed by the likes of Gunnar Stiller and Bjorn Wilke.
