Vertigo is an Indie/post-rock/brit pop band based in Chennai. The band was formed in 2014 and started doing shows in October 2014. The band placed third at IIT Saarang 2015's semi-professional band hunt, Decibels, and also placed first in the Acoustyx event at IIT Saarang 2015 and the electrics event at Festeve 2015 conducted at WCC with the best vocalist. The band is influenced by artists like Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, The Fray, Ed Sheeran, Walk The Moon, Hey Rosetta, John Mayer, John Butler Trio, RHCP, Slash, Myles Kennedy, Caspian, Hammock, Andy Othling, Coldplay, Keane, Two Door Cinema Club, Paradise Of Lights, MGMT and Phoenix.
