Does Vedita Pratap Singh smoke?: Not Known.Does Vedita Pratap Singh drink alcohol?: Not Known.Her father belongs to a reputed royal Chauhan family of Dallipur Estate in Pratapgarh, and her mother is from Dev Verman family of Tripura.When she was studying in her school Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer, she got the national swimming scholarship from the Indian Sports Authority.In her college Xaviers, Mumbai, she performed in various theatre shows, and also won the intercollegiate beauty competition.During her teenage, she was not sure about her careers goal, but after coming to Mumbai, she developed an interest in modelling and acting.She loves realistic cinema, as according to her, an actors true talent is tested through this genre.Vedita has also acted in the play of Hindi film actor Kadar Khan, named Taash Ki Patti..She has appeared in the advertisements- Bajaj Allianz, Alpenlibe, Amul Macho, Parachute Hair Oil, Amul Icecream. and many others.In 2014, she played the role of Aashika in the movie Mumbai 125 KM directed by Hemant Madhukar.
