Veda* The Band was formed in 2002, in the picturesque city of Nashik, Veda comprises working professionals from different fields. Their passion for music brought them together to create music that reaches out to people from all the walks of life. Apart from their own numerous compositions, they have composed music for short films, documentaries, and jingles. Influenced by classical (Carnatic), blues, jazz, classic rock and new-age rock, they classify their own unique style of music as ‘fusion rock’. The band consists of Shrikanth. V. Nair on rhythm guitar and vocals, Nishant Hajare on percussions, Unnikrishnan on drums, Vishak Sivadas on keyboards, Krishnaprasad Iyer on lead guitar, Monesh Jacob on bass guitar, and Sam Das on rhythm and lead guitar.
