Impressed with the intricacy of Usha's design, movie star Kumar Gaurav's wife Namarata Dutt invited her to paint her hands with mehendi. Usha's clientele ranges from Demi Moore to Indian movie stars like Ashwaria Rai, Kajol, and famous personalities like Neeta Ambani. Usha has traveled to Europe, USA, Australia, Africa and Middle East. In 1994, she got the Professional Excellence Award by the Rotary Club of Downtown Mumbai.
