My Compelling Story
Under The Influence is a two-piece piano-based alternative band from the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The band comprises of Abhijit Lahiri (vocals and verses) and Ashutosh Thatte (structures and piano). Started off in January 2010, their music is a blend of all that they adore and listen to – from trip-hop, jazz and soul to funk, pop and electronica. Their sets are a variety of both acoustic and electronic. The duo is inspired by artists like Bon Iver, Cold War Kids, Foster The People, Bonobo, Amon Tobin, Dave Brubeck, Coldplay, Radiohead, Poliça, Massive Attack, Fink, etc. Achievements: Performed at NH7 Weekender in 2013 Played at TLR Delhi Played at The Humming Tree in Bangalore, 2014 Played at Bonobo, blueFROG in Mumbai, 2013-14
