A group of youngster who ventured out to express al their frustrations with music and end up producing some really good compositions & performances is the identity of Unbound Retention. This talented Innovative, ingenious band has been rising to great heights in the music scene of Bhubaneshwar with their performances. Their music has the Rapcore and Electronicore genre at its core and works around it. The screams, wailing guitars, thumping drums on some really cool music is a common sight in their performances. This youth band has captured the imagination of many in the city. Unbound Retention has been constantly performing gigs since 2012 and were announced winners at three of their consecutive gigs in 2014. These performances were at Spectrum hosted by NIFT Bhubaneshwar, Rockathon hosted by IIIT Bhubaneshwar and Xstasy-Overdrive hosted by CET Bhubaneshwar. All of these are pretty popular events in the youth music circuit and this was a big boost to the band. Their work is spellbinding. The Band members Albert on Lead vocals, Arko on Guitars, Raj Subhobrata provides backing vocals while rocking his guitar, Raj handles the bass and also delivers backing vocals, ?Aritra kills it on the drums and Ishan mesmerizes with his Keyboard. All of them are very skilled and understand the nuances and thus deliver solid performances.
