Biography

UDX is a LIVE band based out of Dimapur, Nagaland. Formed in 2008, the band was earlier known as Dementia. Along with alternative metal/hard rock as generic musicality, the band likes to blend hues of rock, blues, and funk genre as a musical style. Ideally dedicated to social causes, the band’s music is strummed to the harmony of society, thematic with rhyme forms. Apart from the awards, the band has had the privilege of playing in various places in the North East and other cities of India and abroad. UDX has released its debut album called Drop Made The Difference 2012. The songs speak about the personal struggles while growing up in society and needing a higher power to help them. Prisoner of War (POW), Panacea, Why, Superhero, and Infection are some of the songs that were written about these issues. These songs are a part of the band’s debut album. Music is their passion, and they believe that music has the power to change and feel empowered to make a change through their music.
