Biography

Twokid Wickid is a professional DJ duo based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. It is the brainchild of Achal Khanolkar and Prithvi Varadarajan. They have been the trail blazers of sorts and have been a big part of the electronic music scene of India. Having started their careers in the year 2011, the duo has quickly climbed up the highly-competitive ladder to establish themselves as one of the most exciting talents around the country. They have, in a way, carved a niche for themselves with their versatile underground sounds and  their signature forte of unforgiving house and techno. Played at: Pebble The Tao Terraces 2102 Sutra Love Shack Sanctum The Royal Orchid Opus Blue Bar ICE Church Street Social Puma Social Club The duo has also played at Hyderabad, Chennai and Goa. They have also opened for international giants like Dubfire, John Digweed, Matador, Henry Saiz, Booka Shade, Guy J, Ambivalent, James Zabiella, Kaiserdisco, Breger, Moog Conspiracy, Dave Seaman, James Harcourt, Kevin Knapp, etc. They have also played with Indian artist such as Arjun Vagale, Ash Roy, Kohra, Calm Chor, Jitter, Pawas, Audio Units, Nikhil Chinappa, BLOT!, etc. The year 2013 also saw Twokid Wickid play at major festivals: The GO:MADras Electronic Music Festival (Mahaballipuram) VH1 Supersonic (Goa) The Great Indian Oktoberfest (Goa and Bangalore) In the year 2014, they also got signed up with the collective 'Regenerate' (Mumbai) as resident DJs and hence made their debut at ‘By The Pier’. They also featured in the Cirkus Indigo Festival in Bangalore. Having also featured on the lineup for the Submerge Sundowner at Baxter’s (Goa) and the Over & Out Festival, there is no stopping for these young electronic aficionados.
