Trishna the BAND was formed in 2009 by Monty and Max. It was initially called, "Tashna"; however, later, the incredibly famous Kailash Kher named it 'Trishna'. Trishna is a versatile band that deals in Bollywood rock genre. Trishna's tally of LIVE shows remains more than 500, globally. They were the finalists of Idea India Rocks 2009 and semi-finalists of IGT Season 6. They shot and released two episodes with Indian Ocean band for an international channel, Fox Traveller and also released their first music video on MTV, titled 'Kudi Patole Vergai'.
