Triculin The Ista is a LIVE band based out of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. With music based on blues and folk, the band was founded by the three of the former members of the famous folk band, Folk Note. It is a four-piece folk, blues, psychedelic band and includes flute, violin, percussions, guitars, didgeridoo, and many kinds of music instruments in their music. The attractive piece of art in their music defines them in a perfect way. The musicians from the band and their big time outputs help them represent their native roots, i.e, Himalayan folk. Recently coming up with their original tracks, Triculin – The Ista had it all, as the massive success of ‘Kaali Ghaghri’ managed to grab the attention of all the folk music lovers. And the band is keen to record their other original songs – ‘Kho Raha Hu Mein’, ‘Devabhoomi’, ‘Pray for Kashmir’, etc. – that they usually play at LIVE shows. The band feels to continue themselves with some new experiments of more mesmerising music assignments and is looking forward to performing LIVE shows. They are working with three upcoming documentaries around the country and are producing music for the short movies as well. They love to produce psychedelic music and exploring the folk music and the tribe instruments of different regions. The main genres of the band are indie-rock, blues, country music, Sufi, and one of the unseen and self-discovered genres, folk rock.
