The Sanket and Rajan project is a LIVE band duo based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The project was conceptualised by Rajan Batra and Sanket Sane. With powerful music production and direction of Sanket Sane with the soulful lyrics and voice of Rajan Batra, the duo formed immediately after a few hours of a jam session. All their songs follow a story lyrically about a young man battling for love. Capturing a myriad mood and emotions like passion, love, pain, etc., the duo released their song ‘Eid Wala Chand’ with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa music which was an instant hit and was played all over India on TV channels like SAB TV and Radio channels like Radio City. Sanket Sane ?He has been directing and producing music for television, films, and for independent artists. He has produced and played with several bands and has been featured on television shows like MTV Unplugged. Rajan Batra ?The creative chap of the project, Rajan Batra is the co-composer, lyricist, and singer of the duo. He is a highly trained Western classical and Hindustani classical singer. Having been performing since childhood, Rajan has successfully been writing and singing for the advertising industry and is an extraordinary stage performer.
