The Quiet River Quartet is a LIVE band based out of Imphal, Manipur. It was in 2013 when four men decided to give a name to themselves which eventually became The Quiet River Quartet.
Some say they are unskilled carpenters from the Caribbean who got banished for offending with a mermaid while others believe they are cheerful monks who spend time milking cows and flying fighter jets. To break away from their ordinary lives, they decided to pick up their guitars and drums and set out in their pursuit to contribute to the growing population of the country.
The Indie rock outfit has released five tracks since its formation, namely Down the Rabbit Hole, QRQ- 17 Seconds, Do Not Forget to Pull the Trigger, I See a Vision of You, and London Bridge. The independent music circuit very much appreciated these tracks.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Travis, Arctic Monkeys, Stereophonics, and Oasis, four disillusioned lads spoilt themselves with the sound of music, and found a place in the hearts of their listeners.
