The Hot Shoe Dance Company is a professional dance troupe based out of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The company has been entertaining audiences worldwide for more than 15 years and is the brain behind many musical hits. The company has set standards and always enjoyed raising the bar. With the history of making things larger on every production, the company has been successfully staging musicals like Andrew Lloyd Webbers, Jesus Christ Super Star, Hair Spray, Lion King, Shrek, and Chicago The Musical. The Hot Shoe Dance Company is Chennai’s premier dance company that has made a statement in its functioning since 1996, with its fully equipped centre. The company teaches all western dance forms through its certified and open classes. The Hot Shoe Dance Company teaches new and exciting works combining energy, innovation, and elegance. From the outset, the company aims to develop talent into a profession through rare techniques. With a flavour from ballet coupled with the latest Latin American techniques and gymnastics, the company enjoys the limelight with the media. The company dancers belong from various backgrounds like Bharatnatyam, street folk, ballet, Latin technique, gymnastics, and tap. The dancers are tremendously hard working, professional and enjoy experimenting pushing their limits, under the choreography of the artistic director, Jeffery Vardon, who focuses on presenting a varied repertoire of new and exciting works.
