Biography

The High Crook is a three piece LIVE band based out of Kolkata, West Bengal. In their music, they utilize components of soul, pop, hip hop, hard rock, and alternative rock, however a large portion of their tunes are pop and Rock 'n' roll. The band is heavily-influenced by the legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, GnR, Porcupine Tree, RHCP, Dire Straits, Doors, BB King, AC/DC, etc and aims to bring back the old school.  Achievements: Icon 2013 Headliner, Presidency University Jamsteady one-year bash, Princeton Someplace Else Open Mic (Featured twice) Behala Blind School – Charity gig Guest act for The Kolkata Tattoo Expo, Tyagraj Hall World Earth Hour Day for WWF (supporting energy conservation) in association with SPARK International Music Day, Someplace Else Your Local Scene Ft. The High Crook unplugged at Mocha Rock LIVE at Ginger, Blues Night Unplugged at Presidency Ft.
