Biography

The Harmony Chorus directed by international singer, music educator and vocal coach, Sandra Oberoi, is one of India’s best children’s choirs! Esteemed Bollywood composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan called us “India’s No. 1,” when we competed on Rising Star (a national level reality singing competition on Colors TV, where they finished in India’s Top 8). Choir members study music at Harmony-the music school and have topped their international music examinations The choir believes in 'Music With A Purpose', and since 2011, has supported several social initiatives including raising funds and an awareness for children with AIDS, mentally and physically challenged girls, teen mental health, lesser privileged children’s education. Some members of our group presently offer music lessons to semi-orphaned girls, and undertake music therapy sessions at old age homes and children’s hospitals.
