Thakara is an alternative/folk/funk/pop/progressive/rock band based out of Kochi, Kerala. They have emerged as one of the best bands that have captured Kerala's attention in the early 2012. With the release of 'Podi Penne' and 'Puttu Paattu', Thakara has gained unparalleled media attention and public appreciation. Frontman James formed the band and now they are working on to release their debut full-length album.
