Biography
The Temple of Drum brings together drums and percussion from different musical cultures – North and South India, Iran, West Africa, the Middle East, Australia, Ireland, Spain, Cuba and more – into one comprehensive performance. They are based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. The Temple of Drum has performed at numerous LIVE shows, corporate gigs, private events, college festivals, etc. They have won numerous awards for their LIVE performances as well. Recent highlights: Performed on the closing day of the Jaipur Literature Festival Performed at the Australian High Commission Performed at Nehru Park, New Delhi, for the opening of the Contemporary Arts Week
