Biography

Taseer is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. The band was formed in 2013 by classical maestro, Pinaki Bose, and most talented and experienced musicians of present day like Bachoshpati Ckakraborty, Tamal Chakraborty, Anirban Nath and Parnab Roy. The motive behind forming Taseer was to make the world know the impact of arranging or blending Indian classical music with rock music.  It is an attempt to make the world feel the power of never before experimented assemble of variable genres of music. Taseer strives to assemble Bandish, Thumri, Bhajan, Sufiana Kalam, and many more of its compositions with progressive and alternative rock.
